“He who walks with the Lord and keeps constant contact with Him will see many reasons for rejoicing and thanksgiving all day long.” Â -Unknown
The final blog of Gratitude Month is a “THANK-YOU” to my readers.  I began writing these blogs as  way to help people grow, while making a positive dent on the devil’s playground…the internet.
My passion for helping others grow most likely comes from a childhood of being skinny, pigeon-toed and having to wear horn-rimmed glasses by the time I was 7 years old…this was when horned-rimmed glasses were not cool.  As a freshman in high school I was a whopping 5′-6″, 105 pounds.  I learned at a young age that the world tries it’s best to stick us in a box and very few people find that the walls of the box are literally nonexistent; the “walls†of the box are simply beliefs we have created out of what the world has told us.  I feel very fortunate to have busted out of my box many years ago and I now make a living helping others bust out of theirs.
The inaugural EagleLaunch blog took place on March 30th, 2008 and since that time I’ve written well over 1000 blogs and now two books with a third one on the horizon…this all coming from someone who was told by every English teacher and professor he had (with the exception of Dr. Banks at Ohio Northern University) that my use of the English language sucked (my translation from the grades I received) and that I needed to stay in my chemistry and math “boxes.”
The bottom line is this: it doesn’t matter what other people say or try to get us to believe.  What matters is finding what we believe and where our passion lies and then practicing this passion over and over and over.  Thus, the reason I am thankful for YOU the reader.  Because without you I would have little reason to keep practicing my passion.
If you can’t figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. Â For your passion will lead you right into your purpose. Â ~T.D. Jakes
…and yes my Mom made me wear dickies back in the day…
