My oldest son Jason is getting married to his college sweetheart Ashley Taylor this evening.
Genesis 2:24, “This is why a man leaves his father and mother and bonds with his wife, and they become one flesh.”
Please keep them in your prayers as they begin their new life as one…pretty cool and this old man is pretty pumped.
I consider all of my blog-followers as part of the family and wanted you to know and include you in on this joyous occasion.
…and of course I can’t go a day without sharing some helpful tips, and Paul says it best in 1 Corinthians…
1 Corinthians 13:4-8, “Love is patient; love is kind. Love does not envy; is not boastful; is not conceited; does not act improperly; is not selfish; is not provoked; does not keep a record of wrongs; finds no joy in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
BTW…God is love and through Christ gives us the ability to love like He does…not easy but so much more pleasant than living in fear and anger.
