“Prayer is not asking. Prayer is putting oneself in the hands of God, at His disposition, and listening to His voice in the depth of our hearts.” ~Mother Teresa
Last night I received a text from a former co-worker and friend requesting prayer. She is fighting cancer and is refusing to lose but admits she needs all the help she can get as the treatments are wearing her down.
Please pray for tolerance of the therapy, healing, strength, courage and peace as early and as often as you can for Sarah H. And while you are praying please lift up another former co-worker and friend Amy F., who has been a survivor for 3 years but is still fighting that nasty “C” word on a daily basis.
If you are relatively healthy and really have nothing to complain about try this exercise:Â Everytime a negative thought enters your mind about yourself or another person, place or thing…pray for Sarah and Amy…maybe it will serve as a reminder just how good you have it.
