As we get closer to beginning a new year it is important to move into 2013 without any extra baggage and there is no greater baggage than a past that has never been dealt with. The past should be used only for helping us make a brighter future regardless of how ugly it may have been.
When I work with people and help them develop a strategic direction for their business or their lives, we take a look at the past. We decide what we need to let go of and/or stop doing and then we create a new path into the future.
Prior to making new goals for 2013, take an honest look at your past.
If the past is not dealt with it will continue to deal with you.
