I don’t know how many people I’ve coached over the years that profess to have faith and believe in God and the power of prayer but their actions indicate no faith and no trust in God’s ability to answer their prayers because they worry about EVERYTHING…AND THAT INCLUDES PEOPLE, PLACES AND THINGS THAT DO EXIST; and PEOPLE, PLACES AND THINGS THAT DO NOT EXIST?!
I am not bashful about telling the world that any success I’ve had in my life is due to the “God Factor.” The “Me Factor” got me bankrupted in all aspects of my life by the time I was 28 years old.
The God Factor is huge and takes impossibilities and turns them into possibilities. I write from experience. Why wouldn’t you want to leverage the creator of heaven and earth and all things in-between, for everything you do in life?
The God Factor will not exist if we don’t get out of the way.
True trust in prayer and leveraging the God Factor requires surrender on our part.
True trust in prayer and leveraging the God Factor requires the ability to say “I can’t, you can God, so do it.”
True trust in prayer and fully leveraging the God Factor requires the ability to wait for God’s answer.
True trust in prayer and fully leveraging the God Factor requires the ability to accept God’s answer even though it is not the answer we were looking for but knowing His answer is leading to an even better answer we never thought of.
True trust in prayer and fully leveraging the God Factor requires the ability to know God knows what we need more than we do.
If you pray and your heart immediately goes back to worrying about what you turned over to God and God knows your heart; you’ve just told God you have no faith and would rather solve the problem yourself. You’ve replaced the God Factor with the Me Factor and I don’t know about you but my “Me Factor” is not worth a darn unless the God Factor supersedes it.
If you pray why worry, if you worry why pray!
