This is a great quote but I have found it takes work for me to “report for duty.” Â It is hard for me to report for duty to God if I have a million things going on in my brain. Â I have found when I am able to shut my mind off and just listen to God amazing things happen.
It is important to find a place where you can listen to God. Â For me it is my early morning meditation or involves going on a long run or bike ride, or while reading a book…yep I listen to God while I read…I am amazed at how many books God is present in. 🙂
Where is your “listening place?” Â Find it and use it and you will be better able to “report for duty.”
