This quote makes me think of the most effective coaches and leaders I’ve been around and read about. They teach as much as they preach (a.k.a. scream).
If someone is not doing their job well and you are that someone’s boss ask yourself these questions:
1. Does she know what is expected of her?
2. Does she have the tools to get it done?
3. Is she adequately rewarded for the successful completion of her work?
4. Is she coached and counseled when she falls short of the mark?
