Over 2000 years ago, on Holy Saturday, the day after Jesus’ death, I picture his followers being in a complete state of shock having no clue what had just happened to their King. It had to be an unbelievably difficult day that was filled with frustration, doubt, grief, and anger.
Have you ever had a day like that?
Yeah, me too.
It’s called life.
The opening quote is so true. We have a choice when we face mountains in our life…we can lean on our faith and move them or let doubt (the devil) take control and make them bigger.
What Jesus’ followers didn’t know on the first Holy Saturday that we know for certain today is–He never leaves us and is always there for us to grab hold of when life becomes difficult and confusing…I write from experience.
Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen.”
