The first round of college basketball’s 2023 NCAA Tournament, aka–March Madness, is coming to a close.
What a tournament it has been so far!
I love this time of year because Spring is beginning to spring, and I am blessed to watch an abundance of basketball games…my favorite sport.
I especially like watching the second half of the games during March Madness, as I’m always guaranteed some wild finishes.
Facts
The winners in this tournament are the teams who finish strong.
The winners in life also finish strong.
Starting something isn’t nearly as difficult as finishing it.

We are three weeks away from closing out our Lenten series of “Crushing Fear.” So what do you say we close it out like champions and FINISH STRONG?!
The best way to FINISH STRONG against the devil and his various antics is to have unwavering faith in God.
Faith beats fear every day of the week.
I developed a ritual many years ago that I utilize whenever the devil tries to get my mind stuck on some fear-induced thought. I picture myself turning the fear over to God as I speak to the devil: “By the blood of Jesus, Satan be gone.”
Do you have a ritual for finishing strong against the attacks of the enemy?
2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.”
