Crushing Fear – Day 37 – Dreams

Something magical happens when we transfer our dreams out of our brains and onto paper.

— JJMeyer —

Fact

We are the only animal God has given the gift of imagination. It only makes sense, as we were made in His image, and He is the ultimate Creator–He wants us to create.

Through the gift of imagination, human beings can dream and envision doing fantastic things, but only a tiny percentage of us do anything about these dreams and visions.

Why is that?

F-E-A-R…the enemy’s favorite four-letter word.

The devil is a dream crusher.

God is a dream fulfiller.

Imagine

What compelling vision has God been nudging you to take action upon?

Whatever it is–WRITE IT DOWN–CAPTURE IT IN WRITING. There is something magical and fear-conquering about writing our creative thoughts on paper.

In 2008, I had a continuous thought/vision of how I–one person– could make a positive dent in what I referred to as “the devil’s playground,” i.e., the internet.

I began brainstorming what to do and created my EagleLaunch blog focused on helping people grow their lives. The thought that I was a below-average student in English and knew very little about grammar never crossed my mind…that’s when you know God is up to something. 🙂

And here I am, fifteen years later, with over 4,000 writings and 7,000 followers.

My latest dream-to-reality project in creating quality content for the internet is my Higher Leading Podcast. The vision for this came to me about four years ago.

Question

What’s God calling you to do?

Solution

Write it down on a piece of paper and put that piece of paper in a place where you will see it often…your creative thought will eventually become a reality…I write from experience.

Habakkuk 2:2, “Then the Lord replied: ‘Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.”

Proverbs 16:3, “Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”

Personal Reflection:

What beliefs, thoughts, and actions get in your way of chasing your God dream?

Additional scripture to read and reflect on:  Proverbs 9:9, Proverbs 13:20, Proverbs 1:5
