Crushing Fear – Day 11 – Excuses

He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else.

DSC_8131Our unwillingness to face reality is often the reason behind excuses.

Our character is built upon our ability to handle the demands of reality.

The devil tries his best to weaken our character by getting us to buy into excuses he feeds us, which in turn creates a distorted view of reality and the desire to run away from our problems.

God wants us to face our problems and deal with them in a healthy way because it grows our character.  As our character grows so does our ability to fight off the attacks of the adversary (devil).

If you are one who gets caught up in the world of excuse making try facing your problems head on and prayerfully taking God with you.  The answer to all of our problems are usually found inside the problems…I write from experience.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV), “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Reflection:
