As I continue to age and hopefully grow wiser, I find myself in total agreement with Shaw’s quote.
I used to think life was about finding myself and it wasn’t until I completely lost myself because of a horrible addiction disorder that I woke up and started creating myself.
A few evenings ago my wife and I were having dinner and she asked me what the new things were that I was working on because she knows I’m always trying to create a better me.
Even though we all are growing closer to death with every day that passes by, life’s journey is much more enjoyable when we are growing and creating…I write from experience.
In the words of Huey Lewis’s song Jacob’s Ladder – “All I want from tomorrow is to get it better than today.”
