Courage-Faith-Hope

You do not need to know precisely what is happening, or exactly where it is all going. What you need is to recognize the possibilities and challenges offered by the present moment, and to embrace them with courage, faith and hope.

— Thomas Merton —

Merton certainly hits the nail on the head here.

Instead of wasting time worrying about a future that is out of our hands, we should invest our time embracing what is in our hands with courage, faith and hope.

Faith is like a muscle, it needs to be worked and every time we worry or become anxious about the unknown we weaken our faith muscle.

How’s your faith?

Do you dwell on the unknown or focus on the possibilities and challenges presented in the moment?
