Clarity = Aligning Words and Actions

Integrity is telling myself the truth. And honesty is telling the truth to other people.

Reflection

Clarity comes when your life matches your words.

During my addiction, I lived two lives, and the more I used, the less I knew who I really was. Misalignment created a lot of confusion, stress, and broken trust with ourselves and others.

The more confused and stressed I became about who I was, the more I used to self-medicate from those feelings. It’s a vicious cycle.

People of character regularly check whether their actions match their values.

Integrity isn’t perfection; it’s consistency, and consistency in doing the right things right–creates clarity.

When your life reflects what you believe, clarity follows naturally…I always write from experience.

Soul Search:

Do my actions reflect my stated values?

Where do I need better alignment?

Matthew 5:37, “All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.”
