Reflection

For some reason, during this holiday season, my spirit has been a bit choppy and cloudy.

For a long time, I battled “pity-pot” depression during the holidays, and it was lifted from me a few years ago. This year it tried to come back while my “battery” was drained due to the after-effects of Influenza A.

Thank God I know what it is and how to dance with it instead of letting it get me down.

I don’t believe my depression is an attack from the devil, but I do believe and know that when I’m feeling down, the devil is trying his best to pounce on me and take me even further down.

I say “BOOM” to the opening quote from Corrie Ten Boom. 🙂

Are you standing your ground against evil?

Are you at peace no matter what the circumstance?

What armor are you wearing today, the world’s or God’s?

Jesus came to conquer evil and give us eternal peace.
