Choose Laughter

At the height of laughter, the universe is flung into a kaleidoscope of new possibilities.”  ~Jean Houston

This afternoon is my friend Amy’s funeral.

A little over three weeks ago I had my final visit with Amy.  Although she was in noticeable pain we sat and told stories and had some great laughs as we reflected back upon our days at the pharmacy.

Amy always had an infectious laugh and even during the final days of her almost four year battle with cancer the laugh did not go away.

There are way too many people living on this earth who take things too darn seriously.

There are some people whose anal sphincters are so tight from constantly being stressed and uptight, bowel movements and friends are far and few between.  🙂

Bottom line:

1.  Laughter is good for the soul.

2.  Don’t take yourself and life too seriously…the devil loves it when we do…life is way to short to live it unhappily.

3.  You have a choice whether or not your life is full of drama or joy.

Choose laughter, it will not only bring joy to your life and others but it will also help you get through the toughest of times.

Amy was living proof.
