Reflection
It’s easy to feel like our world is changing faster than any before it, but every generation has felt this way.
Empires rose and fell, generations came and went, and Solomon already knew the ache of a world in flux when he wrote thousands of years ago, “There is no new thing under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9).
Change is not new; it’s the human condition.
What’s important is where we anchor ourselves. Not in the news or other people, places, things, and situations, but in the One who never changes: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).
