Priorities & Change

If you do not change direction, you may end up where you're heading.

— Lao Tzu —

I asked my Facebook friends to complete a survey about what prevents us from changing habits.

In other words we have a desire to change and we know what to do in order to change, but we just can’t continue to do what we need to do in order to make the change a normal part of our daily routine.

Almost one hundred people responded to this survey and 50% of them said the “busyness” of their life prevented them from continuing to do what they needed to do in order to change.  Another one-third of them said they lost interest once the initial excitement of change wore off.

My goal is to help eliminate the busyness of your life and inspire you to remain excited about creating new life habits that will help you live your purpose and achieve your dreams.

imageOver the next several days we will focus on the third component of our playing field:  Priorities.

If change isn’t important to us, we won’t change.

Sometimes when we step back and take a look at what is important in our life, and then take a look at how we are living our life…change becomes a necessity.

You may be aware of this Proverb, “Necessity is the mother of invention.”

I’ve found prioritizing and pain are the mothers of positive change.
