I used to have very little patience with those who didn’t view the world the way I did. Most of this came from my intense desire for them to understand me and my opinions only.
What a shallow place to live.
Chopra’s quote reminds me of this statement from Jesus: “I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.” (John 9:39)
Are you blind because you can’t see or does your current “sight” need blinded?
Jesus can help you with both.
Seeking first to understand has never gotten me in trouble.
