Yesterday Lori and I were discussing how lucky we were to have such beautiful memories are of our dads.
They were two very special human beings.
If there is a silver lining to losing a parent or someone you dearly love it’s the wonderful memories. You don’t spend time celebrating the memories when they are alive because the memories are still being created—if that makes sense?
When they pass, the memories kick in like never before.
Although our hearts may ache on this particular Father’s Day, our souls will be lifted by the many great memories we have of our dads.
Thanks for all you did for us, Jim and Dad but most importantly thanks for the wonderful memories…you may be gone but you’re really not.
