Grit and Bear It Day 7 – Small Wins Matter

Success is rarely a big leap—it’s a thousand faithful steps.

Reflection

Since the start of the year, I’ve been slowly but steadily getting back into shape for running. One thing’s clear—the older we get, the faster we lose cardio and muscle strength. Shocking, I know… thank you, Captain Obvious.

This past week, I hit a breakthrough in my running. It never would’ve happened if I hadn’t kept my head up and kept moving—however slowly—over the past few months. There were moments when I wanted to give up, but celebrating small wins along the way helped keep my spirits up and my feet moving.

Growing In Faith:

Grit celebrates small wins.

Each step matters.

Each act of faith moves you closer to the calling God has for you.

It’s easy to overlook the power of a single obedient action, but God sees every effort, every sacrifice, every quiet moment of perseverance.

Big victories are often the result of small, consistent steps taken when no one is watching. Stay faithful in the little things—because that’s where the foundation of greatness is laid…I always write from experience.

Soul Search:

What’s one faithful step you can take today toward God’s calling?
