Vision & More Action

“The distance between your dreams and reality is called action.”

Achieving our dream takes action regardless of what the dream is.

A simple exercise I have those I coach go through is called, “BE-DO-HAVE.”You-have-to-‘be-Before-you-can-Do-and-before-you-can-have-Zig-Ziglar-700x525

This exercise is a great way to narrow down what you are aspiring to “BE” (your vision) while creating “DO’S” (your commitments/mission) to help your dream(s) come true.

BE-DO-HAVE Questions:

  1. What would you like to “BE” from a personal and professional standpoint five years from now?  This forces you to look ahead and do some vision casting.
  2. What will you need to “DO” in order to “BE?”  In other words achieving a vision for our life requires us to commit (our mission) to taking action.
  3. Last but not least, what will you “HAVE” professionally and personally from doing what you need to “DO” in order to “BE?”

Click on the attached link:  BE-DO-HAVE EXERCISE and print out the document and take a stab at filling it out.

I’ve yet to see anyone who fills out this form and commits to reviewing it on a weekly basis, not take their life to the next level.

Dreaming is easy.  Doing is work.

A dream without committing to work is but an hallucination.
