Reflection
A few days ago, I picked up my copy of As a Man Thinketh by James Allen and made a simple commitment: read it faithfully throughout 2026. Along with that, I returned to an old rhythm that once served me well—the 10-10-10. Ten minutes reading (James Allen), ten minutes in the Bible, ten minutes journaling, all closed with prayer.
I know the enemy doesn’t take days off. He works subtly, shaping thoughts through distraction, distortion, and quiet doubt.
I’ve felt it.
So instead of reacting, I’m choosing to be proactive, training my mind with intention and anchoring it in truth.
Left unattended, the mind drifts. Tended daily, it grows strong.
Soul Search
Where do my thoughts tend to drift when I’m tired, pressured, or uncertain?
What daily practices can help me train my mind toward truth and clarity?
Romans 12:2, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
