2020 & Successful Resolutions

A New Year's Resolution without a plan quickly evolves into another year without change.

— JMeyer —

For the past ten years, I have spent a significant amount of time assisting individuals and companies with their strategic plans. A strategic plan is the end result of a process where you…

  1. Assess where you are and how you got there
  2. Decide where you want to go
  3. Determine what you need to do in order to get to where you are going
  4. Create a timeline for completion

As I noted in the opening quote, a New Year’s Resolution without a plan is more times than not a recipe for failure.

I am going to spend the next few days sharing some key info on how to plan for success. My goal is for all of you to achieve your 2020 resolution/goal.

Luke 14:28, “For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?”

P.E.A.C.E. for Dreamers…

P – (Plan) A dream remains a dream until it is written down. Putting your dream in writing is the first step in creating a PLAN to achieve it.

E – (Effort) Turning your dream into reality requires a commitment to putting forth consistent and focused EFFORT toward the execution of your plan.

A – (Attitude) If you think you can achieve your dream, you will. Your ATTITUDE always determines your altitude in life.

C – (Community) Nothing great in life happens by doing it alone. The chances of realizing your dream expand as your COMMUNITY of positive mentors and peers expand.

E – (Energy) Chasing and attaining your dream requires optimal levels of mental, physical, and spiritual ENERGY. Take care of yourself!
