Find Out Why

The two most important days of your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.

— Mark Twain —

Reflect on Twain’s quote above.

Life is too short to not take the time to figure out why God made you (your purpose) and in turn design a life around your “why.”

The world runs at warp speed today and if we don’t step back and decide what we want to do with our life, it is real easy to hit the default button and unknowingly become a part of the rat race.

God didn’t give us our own unique DNA to run our race without a purpose.

Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb.  I thank you, High God–you’re breathtaking!  Body and soul, I am marvelously made!  (Psalm 139:14 MSG)

So I run with purpose in every step.  (1 Corinthians 9:26 NLT)

imageWe are beginning week four of creating our life playing field.  The goal of this process is to live our lives by design instead of by default.

And by the way, the devil hates it when we pull ourselves out of the default mode and begin living with a purpose.

We begin looking at the third component of the boundary section of our playing field tomorrow–our priorities.
