This is something I’ve been working on for years.
I used to think “being myself,” and simply allowing words to roll from my mouth, was the way to be–until I figured out how stupid “being myself” sometimes was.
Today I know I need to practice “thoughtfulness” prior to speaking because our words and our tongue are more powerful than we give them credit for.
They will not only make or break us–but more importantly, they may make or break others.
