Lucado’s quote is a tough one to digest but it’s so true.
Many times in my personal and professional life I found myself growing impatient with God because He wasn’t giving me what I wanted but when I look back on those times He always seemed to give me what I needed.
I don’t know about you, but early into this coronavirus pandemic, I felt as though God wasn’t listening to me and then one day I was reminded of His words in Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God.”
If we put our faith in God we have to trust that He will do what is best—otherwise He wouldn’t be God.
