Quote Reflection:
Overcoming our self-imposed limits is the first step in experiencing the type of life we think is unrealistic.
I often find myself cringing inside when talking to someone who speaks in terms of “if only.” If only I had more money and time, an understanding boss, a better childhood, etc…
The words “if only” are the two most famous cop-out words in the English language.
All extraordinary lives and world movements were/are started by someone having the courage to trump their “if only” mindset with a “what if?” attitude.
Question
What “what ifs?” are percolating in your head?
Maybe it’s time to chase one of them down and turn it into reality…but make sure you take Jesus, the “if only” crusher, with you.
Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ Jesus, who strengthens me.”
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. ~Theodore Roosevelt
