One of the greatest gifts recovery gave me was the ability to handle my anxiety and depression by learning how to live in the moment one day at a time.
Living in the past and/or the future does nothing but blur the moment.
The past is over. Â All it should do for us is remind us where we’ve come from and how much we’ve grown.
The future hasn’t happened. Â All it should do for us (if we have dreams and aspirations) is incentivize us to make the most of today.
I always write from experience.
