Social media is behind this movement and the devil is laughing all the way to the bank because when we are shining the light on ourselves, it’s impossible to be the Light for others.
Luke 14:11, For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
Heavenly Father, I live in a world that is becoming more and more selfish–where the need to shine the light on ourselves is superseding the need to let Your light shine through us. Give me the power, courage, energy, and strength to go against the flow of the world, and to be a great representative of who You are and who You want me to be. May my life be more about You, than it is about me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
