Reflection
Failure used to scare me—mostly because I equated it with loss, embarrassment, or proof that I wasn’t enough. But over time, I’ve learned that failure is rarely final. It’s feedback. It’s how God shapes our character, sharpens our focus, and strengthens our faith.
The real danger isn’t falling short—it’s standing still.
Every season of growth requires risk. Every step of faith carries the possibility of stumbling. But the greater tragedy is choosing comfort over calling.
When we refuse to stretch, we stop growing.
When we avoid failure, we also avoid the future God designed for us.
I don’t know what this next year will hold, but I know this: I’d rather fall forward with faith than remain frozen in fear.
God can do more with a flawed step of obedience than a lifetime of safe hesitation.
Soul Search:
Where is God asking you to take a step of faith, even if it risks failure?
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” —Isaiah 43:18-19
