Reflection
It always amazes me how hard it is for human beings to let go of people, places, situations, and things that harm them because of the fear of the unknown associated with letting go, leaving dysfunctional comfort, and replacing it with functional discomfort.
Letting go is a fight worth fighting and winning…I write from experience as a person in recovery from a severe addiction disorder.
The devil wants us to hold on, while God wants us to turn our troubles over to Him so we may move on.
Whose lead are you following?

Isaiah 43:18-19, “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (ESV)
