Reflection
Recently, a friend asked how he could integrate his faith into a new chapter in his professional journey.
I told him something simple but foundational: Be bold in your faith, and the rest will take care of itself.
We often overcomplicate this idea, as if integrating faith into work means adding extra tasks or memorizing the proper spiritual checklist.
It doesn’t.
It means living anchored…rooted in who you are in Christ…and letting that confidence spill into every decision, every conversation, every act of service.
Work is not just a paycheck—it’s a calling.
And when we see our work through that lens, gratitude transforms obligation into opportunity.
Suddenly, the job isn’t merely a role to perform; it’s a field to cultivate, a mission field disguised as meetings, projects, deadlines, and relationships…note to self–what a great way to endure boring and grueling meetings! 🙂
If he lives and leads that way…and if we all live and lead that way…the building of disciples, the influence, the impact, the fruit… it all follows.
God does His best work through ordinary people who choose to show up with extraordinary faith…I always write from experience.
