Reflection:
Fear is the enemy’s favorite four-letter word.
FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real.
The enemy despises human progress, especially when it involves improving God’s world, and the enemy’s go-to strategy to stunt our growth is fear.
Fear tells us we aren’t good enough, smart enough, likeable enough; in essence, it tries to convince us we aren’t enough.
Fear loves to steal our hope.
Fear tries to convince us that the sky is falling.
But fear doesn’t tell the truth—it magnifies the unknown and minimizes God’s power.
Today, choose to confront your fear with the voice of truth.
Speak God’s promises louder than the fear in your head.
Soul Search:
What lie is fear trying to get you to believe–and what truth from God’s Word can you use to silence it?
“God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
