FACING FEAR DAY 26 – Heroes and Freedom

The greatest courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s the resolve to move forward in the face of it. That’s what heroes do, and that’s what freedom costs.

Reflection:

On Memorial Day, we pause to remember those who gave their lives in service to our country. They weren’t fearless—they were faithful. They stepped into danger not for glory, but for duty… for us.

Their sacrifice reminds us that overcoming fear isn’t about feeling brave—it’s about choosing to do what’s right, even when it’s hard.

As we honor their memory, may we also ask: Are we living lives worthy of their sacrifice?

May their courage inspire us to live boldly for God, for others, and for truth.

Soul Search:

What fear is keeping you from living fully or loving boldly? How can the sacrifice of others inspire you to rise with courage in your own battles today?

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” – John 15:13 (NIV)
