“Colossians 3:23-24, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” (NIV)
The above scripture was a part of my morning devotion today. It flows perfectly with my RE-Birthday post of January 27, 2011. Everytime I read these two verses, I am reminded of why I need to always give my best in everything I do.
At the close of my morning devotion I read this verse, “He who works his land will have abundant food, but the one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.” Proverbs 28:19 (NIV)
Bottom line…God wired us to work and if you don’t like your earthly boss try changing your mindset and hopefully your effort by not forgetting who the ultimate “boss” of everything is.
