This morning’s quote came to me as I was reading the third chapter of John a couple of days ago. In the 30th verse of the 3rd chapter of John, John the Baptist says, “He must become greater; I must become less.” The “HE” John was referring to was Jesus.
When we become less and place more faith in our maker than we do on ourselves and/or other people, places and things, our life will grow exponentially…I write from experience.
The road block to this type of faith is EGO (Easing God Out).
For years I had a God of convenience where I called upon Him only when my life was a mess and my EGO was out of answers.
Today I have a God of abundance whom I call upon first thing in the morning and ask for His help and guidance in everything I do, including my God-Purpose.
Over the years my prayers have slowly shifted from being prayers of desperation and/or forgiveness to prayers of guidance and thanks.
…a much more peaceful and abundant way to live…
