Reflection
One thing I love about autumn is that nature doesn’t wait for perfect conditions to change.
Leaves don’t wait for the perfect breeze to fall. They simply let go, trusting the process and making room for what’s next.
We, humans, aren’t always so willing.
Perfectionism can look like excellence, but sometimes it’s just fear wearing nicer clothes.
We wait until we’re ready. Until conditions improve. Until we’re certain. Until the timing is right.
Recovery taught me a better way:
Progress over perfection.
God doesn’t ask us to have everything figured out before taking the next step. He asks us to trust Him enough to take it.
Make the call. Start writing. Ask for help. Apologize. Take the risk.
You can adjust while moving, but you can’t steer a parked car.
Like the autumn leaves, sometimes we need to let go before we can move forward.
Falling forward isn’t about getting everything right. It’s about trusting God enough to get moving.

What am I putting off because I’m waiting for perfect conditions?
