Reflection
A couple of weeks ago, Serenity Acres got a little messy. Falling leaves, mixed with rain, created an ugly, muddy paste covering the ground.
Years ago, this mixture of leaves, rain, and mud drove me batty. I wanted everything cleaned up, even though I knew waiting for the leaves to dry would make raking them easier.
Thirty years later, I’ve learned to trust the seasons. Nature, God, and a few hired hands 😊 will eventually restore the beauty.
Life has messy seasons, too.
I call them the in-between.
You’re no longer where you were, but not yet where you’re going.
We want answers, clarity, and results. Preferably now.
But faith isn’t trusting God once everything works out. It’s trusting Him before we know how things will turn out.
The in-between isn’t wasted time.
God is working in the mess, too…I always write from experience.
