THE LIE
“I don’t have enough to offer to make a difference.”
REFLECTION
When I read the opening quote, I thought of a friend with modest means who makes it a point to serve the less fortunate whenever she travels, no matter the destination. What inspires me most is that she never broadcasts her good deeds on social media. She serves quietly, without fanfare or recognition; simply because it’s the right thing to do. I can’t help but think that’s often God’s preferred way for us to love and serve others.
The enemy loves to convince us that significance belongs only to the gifted, influential, or powerful. But God’s Kingdom often advances through ordinary people doing ordinary things with extraordinary love.
Your impact is not measured by the size of the act but by the love behind it.
SOUL SEARCH
What small act of love can you offer someone today that God might use to make a bigger difference than you realize?
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
