THE LIE
“I need to be more like other people to be acceptable.”
REFLECTION
We scroll through the highlight reels of other people’s lives and quietly believe their faith is stronger, their family happier, and their gifts greater.
Comparison pulls us into a race God never asked us to run.
You were never created to be a copy of someone else. You are a one-of-one masterpiece, shaped by God with a unique story, personality, and purpose. The world doesn’t need another version of them. It needs the authentic you.
Comparison steals joy and clouds calling. God didn’t make you to imitate. He made you to become all He created you to be.
God didn’t call us to compare; He called us to become.
SOUL SEARCH
Who do you most frequently compare yourself to? Ask God to reveal the unique calling and gifts He has placed in you that are distinct from anyone else.
We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves… they are not wise. — 2 Corinthians 10:12
