Hopelessness about personal growth is one of the enemy’s most effective tools. If he can convince you that you are unchangeable, too old, or permanently broken in a certain area, he has neutralized your expectation of God’s power.
But our God is in the transformation business…I write from experience.
He is the potter; we are the clay.
He does not look at your stubborn patterns or recurring struggles and write you off as a waste of time.
He sees what you can become and patiently, persistently works toward it.
Change is often slow and rarely a straight-line journey.
