The battle for your heart begins in your mind. Every “I’m not enough,” every “God can’t use me,” every “It’s too late,” these thoughts have an author, and that author is not God.
This June, we’re tackling the enemy’s greatest weapon head-on: the lies we tell ourselves.
Negative self-talk may be the single biggest thief of a flourishing life, and over the next 30 days, we’re going to call it out and replace it with truth.
THE LIE
“I am not enough. I never have been and never will be.”
REFLECTION
The enemy’s oldest trick is convincing us of our inadequacy. From the garden to today, that whispered lie, “You are lacking,” has stolen joy from countless souls.
FACTS
Your worth is not measured by productivity, appearance, or the approval of others. It is stamped on you at creation.
When the lie that you are not enough creeps in, speak truth aloud: “I am made in the image of God, and that is more than enough!”
SOUL SEARCH
What area of your life do you most often feel “not enough”? Ask God to reveal where that belief began and to replace it with His truth.
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. — Ephesians 2:10
