Reflection
When the work in your life gets hard, and it will, what sustains you is not willpower alone. Willpower is a finite resource. What sustains you is knowing why you’re doing what you’re doing.
Take some time today to revisit your why. Not the surface version, not “I want to be successful,” but the real version. Why does this matter? Who does it serve? What would be lost if I stopped? What would be gained if I kept going?
Let the answer be the engine that drives you through the rest of this month.
Soul Search:
- Do I know my deep why — the reason beneath the reason?
- Is my current work aligned with what I believe my life is actually for?
“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” — Proverbs 19:21 (NIV)
