Reflection:
There is a subtle deception in inaction; it feels safe.
- If I don’t try, I can’t fail.
- If I don’t speak, I can’t be wrong.
- If I don’t begin, I can’t be blamed for not finishing.
BUT and this is a BIG BUT…Inaction has its own cost, one we often underestimate until it’s too late.
Life is short…the high amount of funerals and viewings I’ve been to over the last year reminds me of this truth.
What are you waiting on?
Soul Search:
- What will I regret not having done if I look back in ten years?
- What fear of failure is masquerading as wisdom in my life?
“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” — James 1:22 (NIV)
