Reflection
A mentor of mine used to tell me, “Oh, get over yourself,” whenever I was overthinking and carrying unnecessary angst. She had a way of cutting through the noise and bringing me back to what mattered.
She was one of the most positive, life-giving people God placed in my path. The last time we spoke, she called about a project she wanted me to join. I had no idea it would be our final conversation. She was in the middle of a battle with brain cancer—and never said a word.
That was her way.
Less worry.
More life…a great way to live.
