Reflection
Eight inches of snow, sub-zero temperatures at Serenity Acres, and a stubborn chest cold have been unwelcome companions this week. None of them asked my permission, but they’ve tested my resolve.
Life rarely gives us ideal conditions. While some battles, like disease, limit what we can do, they never have to control who we are. We still get to choose our attitude, our effort, and our trust in God.
High-level living isn’t about waiting to feel strong; it’s about showing up faithfully anyway.
We don’t surrender our spirit to circumstances; we decide, with God’s help, how we will show up.

What is trying to control my attitude today?
Psalm 118:24, “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
