God’s Purpose and Ordinary People

Heaven’s greatest work is usually hidden in everyday obedience.

Reflection

The birth of Jesus didn’t look miraculous to the people who passed by—just another poor couple trying to make it through the night.

Purpose often feels ordinary while we’re living it.

A conversation.

A moment of encouragement.

A quiet act of obedience.

An encouraging note or card.

We underestimate our purpose when we expect fireworks and overlook faithfulness.

Soul Search

Where might God be working in something I’ve overlooked as “ordinary”?

What simple act today could become part of my purpose story?

“Do not despise these small beginnings.” — Zechariah 4:10 (NLT)
