Reality Check
Recently, I had my first of many annual Medicare Wellness checks. I know—whoopee! As the NP walked through her long list of questions, I noticed several focused on staying connected with others—or, put another way, avoiding isolation. That caught my attention because the “C” in my PEACE acronym stands for Community, a cornerstone of living a life anchored in peace.
IMO…Community is also a catalyst for uncovering our God-given purpose.
Nothing great in life happens by going it alone…
Reflection
God rarely gives us a purpose meant to be lived alone. Jesus intentionally surrounded Himself with disciples, friends, followers, and even skeptics—each one sharpening His mission. Our purpose works the same way. The right relationships draw the best out of us; the wrong ones drain us. God often uses people to confirm, refine, and ignite what He planted in us long before we recognized it. Purpose is rarely found in isolation—it’s revealed in conversation, connection, and community.
