Genesis of the opening quote…
I’m still grieving the loss of Charlie Kirk.
In the last months of his life, I listened with awe to his words—not because I agreed with everything he said and not because he was, most likely, the most talented orator of our time, but because of the way he spoke with conviction and courage tethered to love.
Sadly, the internet twisted his image into something he wasn’t.
At his core, he was simply a disciple doing his best to share the Good News of Jesus.
Random thoughts…
We all have our own understanding of what that Good News means, and ultimately, that’s between each of us and Him.
That’s the beauty of a personal relationship with Jesus.
Final thought…
Convictions matter.
We’re called to stand firm in what we believe.
But convictions should never come at the expense of love, because the Good News is this: Love is the way...I always write from experience.

Are your convictions drawing people closer to Christ’s love, or pushing them further away?
“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14
